Connected Response is a smart heat innovator focussing on retrofit technology to optimise storage heating. In 2021, Connected Response became part of Warmworks Scotland LLP.
Products/Services
HeatSage is Connected Response’s flagship smart heat technology. Targeted primarily at social housing landlords, HeatSage transforms existing storage heating from an expensive problem to a flexible and cost-effective heating experience for tenants. The only HeatSage system element visible to the tenant is a small temperature sensor in their living room.
The expertise of Connected Response’s development team means we are technology partners on many cutting-edge smart electricity projects. Current initiatives include optimising storage heating charging to minimise carbon and reducing wind generation curtailment to the benefit of those in fuel poverty.

Benefits
Tenants reliant on electric storage heating typically have an unsatisfactory and expensive heating experience. HeatSage technology, and a tariff switch (typically from Economy 7 to Economy 10) hands control of heating and hot water back to tenants. With HeatSage, their storage heaters are dynamically and optimally charged at times that accommodate their specific lifestyle needs. Average energy bills are reduced by up to 35%.
